Toyo Kitchen & Living to Launch “Dome” Range Hood
Range Hood Designed as an Objet d’art
“Dome” is a range hood designed with a theme of realizing the art of space. Its unique form and texture adopts spinning technology* achieved by a highly skilled artisans, while its elegant champagne silver colored coating is applied not only to external but internal area as well as the current plate. Giving an impression as a beautiful sculpture, and surpassing its functionality, “Dome” is more like a piece of interior decoration. The oil tray is made detachable, simplifying the cleaning procedure.
Spinning technology: A manual technique that uses a levered tool to form a metal workpiece rotated by a lathe into a component. The finish quality is dependent on the artisan skill. With a high level of technology available in Japan, this manual technology can be applied to more advanced fields such as jet airplane or a space rocket.
