Two new designs will be added to Toyo Kitchen & Living’s flagship model “INO”. Cabinet doors adopt a strictly screened quality material to realize the characteristic power of black color. Despite being achromatic, the effect of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) creates a feel of decorative essence, while providing a high level of durability to be accommodated in the severe environment around kitchen. “Emblem” is a new worktop material released by Toyo Kitchen & Living’s own technology. Its decorative nuance fused with practicality in the stainless worktop is highly notable.

“Dome” is a range hood designed with a theme of realizing the art of space. Its unique form and texture adopts spinning technology* achieved by a highly skilled artisans, while its elegant champagne silver colored coating is applied not only to external but internal area as well as the current plate. Giving an impression as a beautiful sculpture, and surpassing its functionality, “Dome” is more like a piece of interior decoration. The oil tray is made detachable, simplifying the cleaning procedure.

Birth of an interior showroom with “eco” design

The Nagoya Head office showroom of Toyo Kitchen & Living, which proposes new lifestyles themed on “Living in your kitchen,” has been fully renovated for a grand reopening. The design plan is by Mr. Yukio Hashimoto, a world-famous designer from Aichi Prefecture. The facade expresses environmental recycling. Displayed on the two floors, totaling approximately 1,000 m2 of space, are 27 kitchen sets, as well as a large number of additional interior items by global brands. The interior showroom enables visitors to grasp the interior image first-hand by actually putting them in the living-dining-kitchen space, which constitutes the core part of most residential homes. The rebirth of TOYO KITCHEN STYLE Nagoya is the first project in Nagoya for Mr. Hashimoto.

Announcement of a new stool, “Anemone”

Flower motif stool

Masanori Umeda, an interior designer, has been awarded many prizes for his upholsteries, such as GETSUEN, ROSE and RAN (orchid), created with images of flowers. Anemone is a stool designed with a motif of an anemone flower. Its stainless steel parts, such as the seat, leg and base, are all hand-made by Toyo Kitchen’s craftsmen. The seat has an improved feeling of comfort, realized through the application of flexibility, one of the characteristics of stainless steel.
